Easy Cinnamon Roll Cobbler
A happy accident. That’s exactly what happened when I made this delicious breakfast/dessert. We had a couple of extra cans of cinnamon rolls & I had way too many berries in the freezer and then VOILA - a yummy, easy breakfast dish. I posted this process on my Instagram story & you guys were fans of the chaos, ha!
What You’ll Need:
2 cans of 8 cinnamon rolls
9” cake pan
1 cup frozen fruit (I used strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries.)
Oil/Butter
Foil
Method to the Madness:
Turn on your oven & set to 400 degrees.
Grease/oil your pan. I used olive oil for this, but next time I’ll definitely use butter.
Next, I opened my cans of rolls & put the icing to the side.
I cut my uncooked cinnamon rolls in half and smushed them to the bottom of the pan until it was mostly covered.
I then cut the rest of the cinnamon rolls in fourths & separated the pieces.
Layer the cinnamon roll pieces and the fruit, ending with cinnamon roll pieces
Pop your pan into the oven for 15 minutes uncovered
Once the top pieces have browned a bit, take the pan out & cover it in foil before putting it back into the oven for another 10 minutes.
Take out the oven, pour the icing on, let it cool for a few minutes, cut & serve!
This is how my cinnamon roll cobbler turned out! Next time, I want to eat it with ice cream :)
